Biography

M. Antonia Noguera Romero has graduated in Pharmacy by the University of Valencia in 1987 with extraordinary graduated award and Doctorate in Pharmacy "cum laude" with extraordinary doctoral award in 1991. Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Valencia since 1998.Pharmacist specialized in analysis and control of medicines and drugs (Ministry of Education and Science, 2003). She is a Member of the Advisory Committee on Evaluation of therapeutic novelties, from the Valencian Health Agency (Health Department) since 2011. Participation as evaluator of international journals: British Journal of Pharmacology. Member of the Spanish Pharmacology Society from 1992. Member of the Organizing Committee of the 36th Congress of the Spanish Society of Pharmacology. Member of the scientific committee at the Congress of Pharmacy students at the University of Valencia (in 2016 and 2017)

Research Interest

She published 44 articles in scientific journals of international projection, the majority in the first or second quartile of its area. Around 80 Communications in Congresses, national and international, in the field of Pharmacology. Participation in 19 research projects financed by international, national and autonomous public organizations and private organizations. Supervisor of 5 evaluated and defended Doctoral thesis and 4 Doctoral thesis in progress. Academic tutor of 10 Master’s degree final projects. Line of research in the field of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, addressing the study of the pathophysiological mechanisms of hypertension as well as the search for new principles of natural origin with a possible therapeutic interest. A postdoctoral stay at the Valencia Foundation for Biomedical Research. Institute of Cytological Investigations.
