She is a Professor of Health Economics and Outcomes at UCSF. Teach Decision Analysis. Research is in Payment Models, Cost-effectiveness and Cost-Benefit Analysis, Cost of Illness studies, Prevalence and Costs of rare Infectious diseases, Patient preference measurement using conjoint analysis and discrete event analysis and WTP and standard gamble. Clinical areas: rare diseases, oncology, urologic problems, dementia, multiple sclerosis, eating disorders, ADHD, HIV & pancreatitis in pediatrics.
